An established, highly reputable law firm in Bury, Manchester, is seeking a Senior Paralegal or Newly Qualified Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working also.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of family law. For Senior Paralegals, substantial experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating proficiency in managing case files, drafting legal documents, and providing comprehensive support to solicitors. Newly Qualified Solicitors should have completed their training contract with a focus on family law, showcasing their ability to handle cases independently and offer sound legal advice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of family law matters
- Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as petitions, witness statements, and financial agreements
- Representing clients in negotiations and, where necessary, in court
- Providing empathetic and professional client care, ensuring clients are well-informed and supported throughout their legal journey
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of family law, particularly in relation to children matters, divorce, and financial remedy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
