Description:

We are looking for an experienced, versatile marketer that understands to, with and through partner marketing motions and can work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. In this role, you will ensure a positive partner experience for Mimecast’s strategic resellers, MSPs and distributors.
You will implement UK & Ireland (UKI) partner co-marketing strategies and tactics aligned with business priorities that deliver on pipeline goals. You will work with UKI partner sales teams to align on targeted partner business growth plans. This role calls for strong organisational, communication, planning and execution skills, an ability to engage stakeholders, and make informed metric-driven decisions to maximise return on investment.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic marketing professional who is an effective team player, experienced in managing a full and varied partner marketing program.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver a UKI partner marketing plan in support of Mimecast partner go-to-market strategy and UKI business goals.
  • Establish yourself as a strategic business partner to the UKI organisation, and develop positive relationships with channel account managers and sales reps.
  • Work closely with UKI field marketers to find synergies in demand generation plans and ensure alignment in communications to the UKI sales teams.
  • Strong collaboration and dotted-line reporting with global partner marketing organisation to align to global strategy, transformation and initiatives and provide input on UKI business support needs.
  • Communication and enablement of partner marketing initiatives to UKI channel account managers and sales leaders.
  • Develop a strategic partner marketing plan for assigned partners.
  • Track, review and communicate marketing influenced pipeline and revenue from partner marketing activities, using key reports to identify trends to aid decision making and optimise outcomes.
  • Manage budget to maximize ROI and adhere to MDF program guidelines and budget deadlines.
  • Build effective relationships with assigned partners’ marketing contacts to understand their marketing strengths and needs and enable their access to tools and campaigns.
  • Lead execution of to-partner events such as partner advisory councils.
  • Support the roll out of key partner initiatives including program launches and recruitment efforts.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment, with strong understanding of marketing to sales funnel and lead management processes and technologies.
  • Results orientation with strong analytical ability to aid decision making.
  • Experienced in creating compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong execution.
