Description:
A GROWTH OPPORTUNITY FOR AGRICULTURAL LEADERS IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS
- Run your own fully operational farming insurance business with renewal rates of 95%
- Six-figure income potential with further earnings growth and no capital investment required
- High profile agency with a diverse customer base of Personal and B2B/SME businesses
- Create bespoke insurance solutions with the support of NFU Mutual.
At NFU Mutual, we’ve built our reputation on, and succeeded in, the agricultural sector. With a value of £15billion to the UK economy, agriculture is an ever-evolving sector and we’re focused on developing our place within the sector even further.
As Senior Partner of this dual-site business, with offices in Dingwall and Thurso, you’ll be the strategic figurehead needed to steer the business forward. This is a self-employed opportunity that comes with a loyal renewal book of Farming & Estates as well as a growing non-farming commercial book; with prospects of sustained new business growth; plus, the support and backing of one of the UK’s most trusted insurers.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AS A STRATEGIC LEADER
This is a 360-degree leadership opportunity, one that requires strategic sales leadership, not necessarily from the Insurance or Financial Services industries, although that would be beneficial. You’ll also need:
- Proven strategic planning and leadership credentials to inspire others to drive towards a common goal
- Commercial acumen with local business awareness across Farming & Estates as well as other regional SME businesses
- A customer ethos that places new and existing clients at the heart of the agency.
In addition to your business leadership skills, a personal interest in rural affairs or the local farming community will help your credibility further, given the core nature of the agency’s business. It will also help with your additional role as Group Secretary for the National Farming Union, Scotland.
