CREATING VALUE BY BUILDING STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
The Commercial Partnerships Finland team is part of the Nordic Commercial Partnerships unit which responsibility is to ensure maximum commercial value of the partnerships we have in Danske Bank. As a bank we have a good commercial position and partnerships are an important part of our strategy. We have a passionate goal to identify and launch new partnerships in different business areas, and that’s why we are looking for a colleague to develop commercial partnerships in Finland.

A typical workday can include a meeting with a startup in the morning to talk about potential partnership, lunch time with our strategic partner to agree on roadmap for the next quarter, and an afternoon planning coming initiatives with the bank’s management”, says your future colleague Huong Huynh.
As a Partnership Manager, you will have your own partnership portfolio for which you are responsible for. You will be handling the full collaboration with the partners, and make sure the partnerships are utilized accordingly to the strategy and customer needs. That includes:
- Setting and following up the targets.
- Driving initiatives to optimize the value of the partnerships.
- Securing that partnerships are compliant and following the Bank’s procedures.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to fulfill the commitments of the partnerships.
- Co-developing new partnership ideas to scale business opportunities both in the local and Nordic markets.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND COMMERCIAL MINDSET
We are looking for a professional who knows the banking business and its key products and processes, and who has enthusiasm for developing commercial partnerships.
We imagine that you have:
- Over 5 years of work experience, for example, in partnership management, customer-, or project management.
- Applicable university degree.
- Commercial mindset with good strategic understanding and capability to hands-on deliveries
- Skills to communicate effectively with partners and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Finnish and in English – Swedish is a great plus.
