GenesisCare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Manager/Senior Patient Services Officer to join our centre based in Bunbury, WA. This is a hands-on role that provides day to day leadership of the patient services team and patient accounts, keeping the team motivated, engaged and on track to consistently deliver patient centric services within the Radiation Oncology practice.
On offer is a 12 month maximum term full-time position, working 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri).
More specifically, you will:
- Provide direction, supervision, support and recognition of staff activities and promote collaboration, cooperation and teamwork through effective leadership and management strategies.
- Provide support, initiate and drive change strategies across the practice through the provision of data and leadership which supports both the vision and ethos for GenesisCare and the development of patient focussed change strategies, programs and initiatives.
- Be a champion for high level of patient services by meeting patient needs, maintaining patient service levels and monitoring and reacting to patient feedback.
- Having a clear understanding of the patient registration and billing systems and the related billing processes. Including, assisting with the patient accounts function, as required and during periods of leave.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote and support initiatives designed to improve clerical staff engagement.
- Display a strong commitment to developing others through implementing effective performance management and development processes and providing staff with ongoing feedback and performance coaching.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of 3 or more staff.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
- Strong experience in medical administration and reception management.
- Strong management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with and effectively influence staff & patients.
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to provide excellent leadership in line with the organisation’s values.
- A collaborative and flexible approach to delivering exceptional patient centred services.
- Willingness and ability to proactively implement continuous improvement and change initiatives.
- Able to effectively and collaboratively solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to use clinical administration systems, as well as Microsoft Office software for data analysis and reporting purposes.
