As a Senior Analyst on the Payments Optimization team, you will prioritize and spearhead initiatives that will refine and optimize transaction processing workflows for Toast Payments. You will collaborate on initiatives with other Toast teams across Product, Engineering, and Operations. This role will lead to significant business impact.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
Monitor and provide insights into payment processing in near real-time in partnership with Product + Engineering, BI, Strategic Finance, Data Science and Payments Operations teams
Research current payments performance trends. Develop and launch processes for improvement
Partner with cross-functional teams to support payments related roadmap initiatives
Monitor and build alerts for payments workflows to ensure accurate performance
Constantly and rigorously ideate with a focus on improving payments performance
Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)
3+ years of relevant experience in Analytics
Experience with complex data analysis using SQL, dash-boarding using visualization tools
Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail - the ability to dig into large amounts of data and distill actionable insights
Ability to work with and navigate cross-functional and global teams
Strategic thinking skills with the ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks
Experience and strong interest in complex payment processing implementations
Special Sauce (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)
Experience with a statistical programming language (e.g. R, Python) preferred but not required
