Description:

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to join our Global shared service Payroll accounting team amidst ongoing growth. This role is critical for managing payroll operations for EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm and ensuring accurate US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, precision, and a proactive approach to streamline payroll processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Payroll Accountant role or similar
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • High personal responsibility with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and process information from multiple sources effectively
  • Proven team player with a result-oriented approach
  • Proficient in English, capable of effective communication in a business environment

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for specific EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm, including standard payroll accounting and accruals
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll across all internal systems
  • Investigate complex payroll cases and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure cohesive operations
  • Address audit requests and engage in regular meetings with both external and internal auditors
  • Handle local audits focusing on the payroll-related aspects
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, actively identifying areas for enhancement and testing new processes
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required
  • Utilize advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel, to manage and analyze payroll data
  • Operate and manage ERP systems to ensure seamless payroll transactions
  • Maintain high stress tolerance in managing payroll under tight deadlines
