We are looking for an experienced payroll professional with experience in payroll processing, general ledger accounting, and daily accounting activities. If you are detail oriented, service driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment this might be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for US Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly payroll and Off Cycle processing (Adjustments, Terminations, and Stock transactions)
  • Processes end-to-end payroll activities, including off-cycle payrolls and ensures that all employee earnings and deductions, at point of final calculation, are accurate and are made in compliance with payroll tax and legal requirements.
  • Hands-on payroll experience with multi-state and multi-company payroll required, including Time and Attendance Management.
  • Responsible for 100% compliance with the payroll internal controls, as assigned to this position and promotes solid and effective internal controls as a vital and necessary component of payroll processing. Ensure that all payroll processing related controls and narratives are kept up to date and accurately represent current best practices
  • Expert knowledge of payroll methods, touch points, end-to-end processing steps, best practices, and tax filing; up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
  • Responsible for accurate year-end payroll and W-2 processing and government reporting
  • Responsible for any inquiry resolution and follow up utilizing ServiceNow
  • Support business process strategies for end-to-end Payroll processes to achieve efficiency, productivity and improved control.

  • Performs various journal entries and account reconciliations,
  • Ensures timely reporting and payment of the employer’s and employees’ withholding taxes and miscellaneous withholdings to appropriate agencies
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide high-quality customer service
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll requirements and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, wage tax laws, segregation of duties, SOX and other federal and state legislation impacting payroll.
  • Resolve escalated payroll issues and provide expert payroll knowledge regarding special payrolls, garnishments, and taxation.
  • Good communicator and ability to work cross functional teams.
