- Preceda and Workday knowledge is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll officer with End-to-End experience working with a payroll of more the 1200 to join our Finance team in an 18 month contract with a view to extend. The Senior payroll officer will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with all staff whilst fosters a culture of collaboration and inclusion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the coordination of Payroll function to ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly and off-cycle payroll and other payroll transactions.
- Timely resolution of business queries and issues identified.
- Provide reports to business.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative requirements with regards to Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation and other aspects of payroll
- Assisting in the preparation of annual returns
- Proactively identify risk areas and work with team to establish solutions to address risk.
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.
- Resolving payroll issues
- Employee record maintenance
- Maintaining Duties to assist the Finance Manager and Head of Financial Accounting Operations
- Working closely with People and Culture and the Finance team
