Description:
An number of exciting opportunities have arisen to join a fantastic team of People professionals, based at Northumbria Healthcare Manufacturing & Innovation Hub (Seaton Delaval) in the roles of Senior People Advisors. These three vacancies are as a result of maternity leave cover and also supporting a request for a career/employment break. We are seeking motivated, conscientious, and experienced People Professionals to work within our fast-paced and supportive Operational People Team.
These roles are pivotal in supporting the provision of a high-quality People service that is focussed on supporting staff, colleagues and managers across the organisation to achieve outcomes in line with the vision and values of the Trust.
The successful post holders will be required to work at other sites within the Trust on a regular basis. Blended/agile/hybrid and flexible working are supported by the Trust.
You will provide specialist advice in relation to employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, organisational change, and Medical Staffing issues.
You will provide supervision to more junior members of the People team and advise on complex employee relations matters including Case Management support.
You will have opportunity to support the implementation of national strategies and developments and the Trust’s People and Organisational Development Strategy.

Successful candidates will act as Senior People Advisors aligned with a designated Business Unit within the Trust. You will assist your Business Unit in meeting their overall objectives and Business plans by providing timely and accurate information, advice and support to enable them to proactively manage:
- Employee relations
- Organisational Change
- Recruitment and retention of quality staff
- Medical Staff resources
Successful candidates will have an ability to communicate, negotiate and influence a range of managers and staff; have a pragmatic approach to deal with complex, difficult and emotional situations in order to advise on an appropriate course of action and an ability to organise their own workload to meet service needs and competing deadlines.
