Affirm is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support our Technology functions. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and influential, with the ability to embody and scale our culture as we continue to grow. This is a full-time remote role and can be based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the integration of the company’s culture and values across all employee touch points, championing them as fundamental elements of the employee experience.
- Partner closely with business leaders to align their objectives with company goals, crafting tailored strategies that propel both business success and employee growth.
- Analyze workforce trends and make recommendations for headcount planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Proactively partner with key functions (Hiring, L&D, Compensation, etc.) to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions across the organization.
- Empower managers and leaders with coaching and support, enabling them to lead their teams with confidence and effectiveness.
- Lead change management initiatives, guiding teams through organizational changes with clarity and purpose.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing employee concerns with sound guidance and ensuring consistent application of People policies and procedures.
- Design and implement programs that elevate employee engagement, boost retention, and enhance overall satisfaction.
- Lead performance management processes by coaching managers and individual contributors on setting clear objectives, conducting impactful performance reviews, and crafting performance improvement plans.
- Lead talent review discussions, assessing performance, potential, and readiness for advancement while advising on organizational design and talent development. Act as a thought partner in organizational design and talent development initiatives, ensuring the right talent is in place for key roles.
- Partner with People and Organization Success and DEI teams to deeply embed DEI programming into Affirm’s talent ecosystem.
- Collaborate with compensation teams to shape and execute competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent.
- Develop, implement, and communicate clear and effective HR policies and procedures.
- Leverage people data and analytics to generate actionable insights and inform strategic, data-driven decisions that impact the organization at all levels.
