As our People Operations & Talent Manager, you will be the central person of our People Team (for now) and serve as the go-to person for all HR and People-related matters. In this role, you may also have the opportunity to lead a junior team member in the near future. You will oversee the entire employee life cycle—from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, labor law compliance, development, and offboarding ensuring a seamless experience for our growing and diverse workforce.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a tech or startup environment with at least 2 years in Talent Acquisition and 2 years in People Operations each.
  • Proven track record in payroll management and understanding of German labor law is essential.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Fluency in English and German is required (both written and spoken).

TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Solid experience working with HRIS, ATS, and standard office tools (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace).
  • Strong knowledge of German labor laws, including contract management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
