Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Senior People Lead, and other leaders to translate the business strategy into an innovative people philosophy and people practices which enable exceptional performance.
- Build trusted relationships and collaborate across the company to develop the organisation’s culture and environment, ensuring a passionate focus on achieving business goals.
- Collaborate with others to create and lead the employee experience to ensure the organisation can attract, develop, retain and reward exceptional talent, enabling high employee engagement and performance.
- Coach and advise managers on all people-related matters, including how to manage, motivate, engage and develop their teams.
- Lead and advise on all employment matters including handling related legal and compliance risks.
- Act as a mentor and guide to others in the people team, providing them with support and direction as needed.
- Assimilate complex information to provide clear, straightforward and actionable insights which create understanding and alignment, and drive business performance.
- Create and develop innovative, high impact initiatives, solutions and ways of working.
- Operate autonomously and in a highly organised way which drives pace and proactivity.
- Capture and use data to evaluate the success of people programs against their aims, goals and objectives, and share learnings and insight across the wider business.
- Work with third parties, consultants or members of parent organisation to provide operational People/HR items such as payroll, benefits, etc.
