Description:

JUL 19, 2024

Would you like the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our newly formed people team and become part of a growing organization? We are looking for a proactive and strategic Senior People Partner that will join us in driving our people operations with long-term business goals.
What will your day look like?
As an Operational Senior People Partner, you will serve as a strategic linchpin, facilitating seamless people operations across various departments and locations. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers by offering insights and solutions on the employee lifecycle. We are currently building out the people function in VML MAP, which means there is an opportunity for you to influence our ways of working, and for you to grow and develop your skills along the way.

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Working hands-on with people tasks and operations in a high-performance culture
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement People strategies to support overall business objectives
  • Partnering with managers to provide strategic People support, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations and feedback. This includes supporting complex employee cases, talent retention, performance appraisals, improvement plans, etc.
  • Researching and building out best practices. This also entails educating the wider organization on people processes, employment law and encouraging employee well-being
  • Ensuring compliance with various employment related legislations and policies
  • Taking on ad hoc people-tasks relating the employee experience and culture we would like to foster within VML MAP.

Who are you going to work with?
You will become part of a close-knit people team of five. We are based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, but we partner with and service the entire organization across our 14 locations globally.
What do you bring to the table?
The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic professional who can generate momentum by helping managers drive the operational success of their departments and teams. You enjoy being hands-on, whilst your strategic approach and curiosity enables you to research inquiries, problem-solve and eye out room for improvements. You are highly organized, good at prioritizing and switching between urgent matters and more long-term projects. Finally, it is crucial that you are detail oriented and thorough.

In addition, you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred
  • +3 years of experience in a people/HR role
  • Record of successfully working with senior leaders and managers
  • Strong knowledge of people/HR, practices and employment law
  • A great sense of fairness, empathy and accountability
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
