Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead the Recruitment Team in day-to-day recruitment activities, providing guidance and ensuring best practices in recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with established Recruitment procedures, company policies and relevant employment legislation.
- Leading and co-ordinating recruitment vacancies and future recruitment requirements for Stena Drilling.
- Review and process CV’s on a daily basis.
- Complete internal and external interviews followed by end-to-end recruitment cycle,ensuring that relevant approvals and necessary documentation are obtained and recorded.
- Provide support by advising Heads of Department and Rig Managers on best practice for recruitment and selection.
- Ensure all internal employing companies and external 3rd party personnel providers, adhere to Maritime Labour Convention. Collate, audit and record required certification annually.
- Ensure all 3rd party personnel providers hold valid personnel services agreement and required insurance documentation. Collate, audit and record required certification annually.
- Review and ensure implementation of future succession planning ahead of commencing external recruitment.
- Continuously review methods used for sourcing external applicants. Ensure continuous development and maintenance of vacancy advertising, utilising applicable channels as well as social media.
- Maintain and develop a solid application database of both existing applicants for current and future vacancies.
- Continually review, analyse and report on labour market conditions, trends and skills shortages.
- Promote and implement the Company’s digitalisation and automation objectives as it relates to recruitment process’, procedures and software.
- Preparation and regular revision of Job Descriptions for both onshore and offshore employees.
- Review and approve all contracts of employment ahead of issuance to the employer and employee.
- Responsible for control of the Preferred Supplier List for recruitment agency use.
- Prepare weekly recruitment reports for Chief HR Officer.
- Any other duties as required by Chief HR Officer.
Suitable applicants should ideally have:
- High School Education
- Knowledge of UK/International Employment
- Legislation and Regulations.
- Suitable Recruitment experience at a senior
- level.
- Previous experience of recruiting for all
- levels of drilling disciplines.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- skills.
- HR or Recruitment Qualification.
- Member of professional HR Institute.
