Spire Edinburgh has expanded its services and as a result, we have a brand new opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to join our team and play a critical part in our period of growth. This position will mainly be based at Murrayfield hospital, but there may be an occasional requirement to travel to the hospital at Shawfair Park. This position would be ideal for an experienced Physio to further their career, please get in touch to find out more!
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying physio experience
- Experience of assessing, treating and supporting a range of patients/cases across the Inpatient setting
- Experience in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to continue our high standards of patient care

Responsibilities:
- To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to patients with an inpatient physio department
- To assist the team lead in leading the day and supporting junior staff
- Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the physiotherapy assessment of patients and supporting staff with relating clinical reasoning
- Support the wider hospital and physio staff leading manual handling and falls
- Potential to grow into Team Lead position relating to hospital expansion
