Description:

We are seeking a senior physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation to help drive our intermediate care service and deliver a high standard of clinical interventions to patients in our intermediate care bed-based units across the Dudley Borough. The post holder will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a wide range of clinical needs and conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, medical and surgical, as well as frail elderly co-morbidities. The post holder is required to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team committed to delivering and improving high standards of therapy within Dudley group NHS Foundation Trust.

To work as part of th e intermediate care pathway , providing effective and efficient physiotherapy to patients with a variety of physical conditions as part of an multi-disciplinary team . Duties will include , assessment, therapy (both group and/or individual as appropriate) , developing tailored therapy programmes through to discharge, as well as appropriate delegation of work to assistants. Working autonomously a cross various ICT units , using evidence based/client centred principals to assess, plan, treat and evaluate interventions.
The post holder will be involved in service development, audit and development of junior staff.
