Senior PI Engineer

Horizon Controls Group have an exciting opportunity for a Senior PI Engineer to join our team in assisting client projects in Denmark,

• Provide support in the interfacing of Aveva PI with other Automation Systems for the project (DeltaV, Aveva SCADA, and others)
• Creation of PI tags and configuration of PI interfaces to other systems
• Creation of Event Frames and other work within the PI Asset Framework Server
• Support project schedule and strategy relating to PI implementation for the project
• Provide support for configuring and testing the Critical Alarm Handling System (CAHS)
• Provide support for generating CAHS tags in PI database
• Provide support on OPCUA and other interfaces between VDS/BMS Scada to PI
• Provide support in connection with AVEVA Scada system operation.
• Provide oversight on project tasks status related to above and ensure that schedules are met.
• Update and maintain Issued Change Controls for CAHS.

KEY EXPERIENCE:

• Solid technical background and experience within Scada systems, Siemen’s PLC’s, and DeltaV
• Solid technical experience with database systems such as SQL and/or PI
• 3-5 years minimum experience in pharmaceutical projects with Automation Systems.

EDUCATION:

• B.Sc in Engineering (Automation, Chemical, Electrical, or similar) at a minimum
• Project Management certifications is considered an advantage
