We are looking for experienced planners to join the Strategic Planning team as Senior Planners.
These challenging and rewarding roles will undertake significant planning projects that have been identified as a result of core strategic planning that has been progressed together with providing leadership, support, and guidance at the City.

You will be responsible for:
- Preparing, coordinating, and managing complex land use planning projects and strategies identified within the Corporate Business Plan with a focus on Precinct Structure Plans for Strategic and District Activity Centres.
- Have a positive impact on reshaping the City’s local planning framework as we seek to deliver outcomes identified in the Council’s strategies and plans.
- Providing professional and timely advice, guidance and information on a variety of planning issues to a range of stakeholders.
- Ensuring the City constantly works to deliver sustainable town planning outcomes.
- Assisting in the coordination of work for the Strategic Planning team.
- Provide a supervisory and mentoring role for the planners at the City.
