As a Senior Planner with the Fraser Salish Region, your strategic vision and leadership will directly impact the health and wellness of First Nations communities. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the creation and implementation of innovative planning, reporting and evaluation frameworks that align with First Nations’ values and priorities, ensuring our strategic goals become tangible outcomes.
Title: Senior Planner
Salary: $86,778 - $102,091 - $117,405 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Temporary – 2 Year Term
Hours: Monday to Friday (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Fraser Salish Region (Chilliwack, Surrey, Matsqui) located on the ancestral territories of the Cayuse, Umatilla, Walla Walla, Stó:lo, Hul’qumi’num, and Stz’uminus Nations - Hybrid

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant university degree in Planning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6-8 years of significant, recent, relevant and progressive experience in planning, or health management
  • Experience in working with First Nations
  • Significant planning and performance measurement experience are assets

Responsibilities:

As Senior Planner, you will spearhead the development, analysis, communication, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of FNHA’s strategic, operational, community, and regional planning initiatives. You will be collaborating closely with regional programs, engagement, project teams, and centralized evaluation and planning teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of various evaluations and reporting. Working within a Quality Improvement framework, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing and updating FNHA Fraser Salish region plans to align with the Fraser Salish Regional Health and Wellness Plan and the FNHA Multi-Year Health Plan.
