What Will You Be Doing as a Senior Planning Coordinator?

As a Senior Planning Coordinator, you’ll play a central role within the IMRDS Water Planned Works team, managing both planned and reactive projects. Working closely with the Senior Delivery Agent, Senior Engineer, and the Engineering & Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing capital solutions and other network improvements, such as:

  • Overseeing planning for main laying schemes, DMA/DZ meter replacements, large-diameter repairs, and other improvements.
  • Ensuring projects meet safety, budget, and timeline standards while aligning with our AMP7 efficiency and leakage goals.
  • Leading a team of Planning Coordinators and Technical Administrators to maintain program progression.

  • Competent in using IT systems such as SAP, Oracle, and MS Office
  • Knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004
  • Experience with program monitoring and adjustment in response to workload and seasonal demands
  • Ability to challenge constructively and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
