Description:
Petrofac is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer - Contractor for 12 months based in Aberdeen, UK.
Responsibilities:
Scope of Services:
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment.
Undertakes all planning activities on the project. The Senior Planner is capable of performing general duties with limited direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets. The Senior Planner will be responsible for preparation and reporting against the project schedule. The role will include liaison with other disciplines to achieve schedule consistency. The Senior Planner will provide necessary input and support to project progress and reporting.
Services to be delivered during the duration of the contract are detailed below:
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and monitor progress to achieve on time or earlier deliveries to keep the project on schedule.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and deviations from original proposal/ contract by raising technical queries with projects / client.
- Monitor progress against schedules, analyse deviations and recommend remedial actions.
- Analyze the project data and communicate the project performance to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Prepare manpower loading and work breakdown structure.
- Prepare project reporting for engineers, construction planning, schedule risk analysis, progress and corrective actions and critical path analysis.
- Capable of resolving and high profile issues, with collaboration with from Project Controls Engineer and Project Management.
- Prepare and make presentations to project teams and client on schedule control methodologies and procedures used by the company.
