As a Senior Plant Controller, you will be a pivotal member of our team, working closely with Plant Management and the local Finance Leader to drive financial performance and operational efficiency. Your role will be central to ensuring that financial data is accurately reported, analyzed, and used to inform strategic decisions. You will collaborate across departments, providing critical insights and financial guidance that directly impact our business’s success.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Monthly and annual financial planning and analysis (annual budget review, monthly plan updates, excess & obsolete, utilization and manufacturing spend analysis)
- Reconcile the monthly financial results to plan and explain significant differences in working capital and profitability (including manufacturing variance tracking and diagnosis)
- Generate monthly reports and variance analysis of actual performance and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Work with the plant management to keep costs under control and provide visibility by creating relevant analysis and reporting tools
- Keep track of productivity and cost reduction projects
- Participate in the decision-making process by preparing detailed analysis and making recommendations to management
- Create and maintain performance dashboards and regular follow up on relevant supply chain KPI’s
- Provide back-up for accounting/controlling on monthly close requirements
- Conduct periodic operational reviews with Operations, Finance and Management
- Ad-hoc projects – work on special projects with focus on continuous process improvements
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Controlling.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience with preparing balance sheets, P&L’s, and other financial statements to complete required financial analysis.
- Experience working with SAP as ERP system.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to comfortably communicate financial information to senior levels in the organization.
- Proficiency in German and English.
