Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps best practices, infrastructure as code, programming/scripting, and observability. This hands-on role involves building tooling and services to enable a truly self-serve approach for our engineering teams. As the team lead, you will influence how the company architects and evolves the platform, balancing speed and quality in our roadmap delivery.

Your Impact

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure, adopting DevOps best practices
• Enable developers to efficiently and reliably develop and deploy code by automating infrastructure management and workflows (CI/CD)
• Develop and maintain scripts and applications
• Implement and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, and alerting using various tools
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers, managing ambiguity in project specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and operation of applications
• Participate in an on-call support rotation to provide timely resolutions for critical issues

About You

• Masters’ Degree or PhD in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineer or similar education backgrounds
• Minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
• Proficiency in architecting AWS cloud infrastructure, including multi-tenancy networking and security best practices
• Excellent understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Typescript, Go, Python, Bash
• Solid understanding of observability and SRE principles with experience in monitoring tools like Datadog and Dynatrace
• Experience in supporting and improving CI/CD workflows
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage project ambiguity, and influence without direct authority
• Willingness to be part of an on-call support rotation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS and GCP
• Understanding of event streams and data engineering
• Experience contributing to ISO 27001 certification
• Comfort in taking ownership of problems and making long-term improvements
• Experience driving team delivery and success via OKRs or KPIs
