IT PMO lead
As the dynamic Program Management Office (PMO) lead, you will drive the efficient execution of high-impact projects and programs that align with our strategic business goals. With around 40 project managers under your wing, your leadership and support are crucial in elevating our project outcomes and ensuring seamless coordination.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a PMO lead and in managing IT projects.
  • Several years of experience leading virtual project teams across different time zones and cultures.
  • Exceptional strengths in servant leadership, problem-solving, communication, and structure.
  • A passion for PMO and Project Management, with the ability to influence and communicate respectfully.
  • Adaptability to steep learning curves and a commitment to developing your skills in digital transformation and project management.
  • You excel at sharing the portfolio overview and providing detailed support to project managers.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable at all levels of the organizational hierarchy, and adept at building relationships.
  • Strong background in PMP and/or PRINCE2 methodologies.

Some detailed roles of the PMO lead role:

Governance and Methodology:

  • Establishes and enforces standardized program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization.
  • Develops governance frameworks to monitor program performance, including reporting, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Ensures compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

Financial Oversight:

  • Support program and project budgets and financials, ensuring that programs and projects are delivered within the defined budgetary constraints.
  • Tracks financial performance and resource allocation, reporting on any variances and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Works closely with finance teams to manage program forecasting, cost optimization, and financial reporting.
  • Execute the cost saving initiatives in the IT organization.

    Risk Management and Mitigation:

  • Develops and maintains a risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks.

  • Works with program and project teams to ensure proactive risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Monitors changes in the business environment that could impact program success and adapts accordingly.

Performance Reporting:

  • Establishes performance metrics and KPIs to measure program and project success.
  • Provides detailed reports and dashboards to senior leadership on the progress, health, and outcomes of programs.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Reviews and refines program and project management processes, tools, and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Encourages feedback from program managers and stakeholders to drive innovation and process improvements.
