JOB DESCRIPTION
Corporate Banking Portfolio Management Team Lead (PMTL) maintains a high credit rating within the department. Involved in the initial assessment process for new credits, subsequent credit approval discussions, and the management of the workflow. The PMTL has overall responsibility for ensuring all credit processes are adequate, including the timely completion of credit requests, past due management, credit quality goals, problem credit management and CRA/PRM compliance. Depending on credit and market needs, the PMTL may also have some responsibility for client contact and revenue enhancement. The PMTL also manages and leads a staff of portfolio managers.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field
- 10 or more years of banking experience
- Five or more years of management experience

- Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills
- Thorough knowledge of division and relation to industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
