To support this we are looking to expand our Property and Portfolio Management team to help strengthen our award-winning service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a property or portfolio management related field.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the AST Housing Act and breach scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software.
  • ARLA Qualified to Level 3 or IRPM or working towards

Responsibilities:

JOB ROLE SUMMARY

The business is agile and fast paced and we are looking to recruit an equally enthusiastic candidate to be part of our Portfolio Management team.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day running of residential properties on behalf of institutional and high net worth clients both private and corporate, ensuring that properties are maintained and managed to a high standard, handling inquiries, complaints and maintenance matters. You will be responsible for preparing property management plans, budgets, and schedules, as well as supporting monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of the portfolio.
You will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance staff and contractors to ensure that properties are kept in good repair and for managing resident relationships, including responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining resident and landlord satisfaction whilst managing the portfolio expenditure diligently.
In addition to these core responsibilities, a successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised and detail-oriented, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be comfortable with technology and software platforms (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) used in the property management industry, such as property management software (Reapit, MRI Qube and FixFlo), financial accounting software, and customer relationship management tools.
The successful candidate will have sound commercial awareness, be motivated, organised, hardworking and a strong team player and able to influence team members at all levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties and overseeing day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, resident and portfolio client relations.
  • Support in developing and implementing property management plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate records and financial reports for the portfolio of properties.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and implementing preventative maintenance measures.
  • Responding to resident inquiries and complaints and ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Coordinating with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the properties to our portfolio clients.
