JOB DESCRIPTION

Manages projects from initial concept and capital planning through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools. Builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders while serving as a liaison. Oversees program risks and facilitates or participates in mitigation activities. Able to address issues via direct one-on-one dialog with portfolio and program resources.
Develops relationships with leadership of key project resources. Authors project management artifacts. Develops and maintains project plan(s) and oversees financials. Works with resource managers to obtain resources. Ensures project governance is established and observed. Authors effective, clear, concise, and relevant communication for portfolio and program stakeholders. Presents the appropriate message to audiences up to and including Senior Vice Chair.
Determines knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcome. Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members. Works effectively across the organization to achieve goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minium of 7+ years’ experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.
  • Financial planning, budgeting, analysis and reporting

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Technical / Operations skills
  • System development life cycle
  • Vendor relationship and Contract review/management
  • IT program/project management -Project control and reporting
