Responsibilities:
The CCO front-office department ‘Operational Support’ is responsible for enabling the energy transformation for ‘Power’ teams in the commercial area of Uniper Global Commodities. Our team helps to drive the Power strategy and implements the strategic Power initiatives to accelerate the energy transition and thus is directly contributes to the commercial success of the front-office Power function.
As a ‘Power Business Developer & Strategist’, you will play a vital role in collaborative teams that identify, develop and implement solutions to drive Power’s green strategy. You will use your energy expertise to drive initiatives forward, advise colleagues and make strategic decisions. Your analytical vision and drive are crucial for developing innovative approaches and supporting customers.

- You drive CCO Power’s strategic development and strategic cross-functional initiatives as Power Strategy Manager within the Uniper organisation, i.e. working closely with Power business lines as well as other Uniper line functions such as Renewable, Hydrogen, Energy Asset and Sales business.
- You contribute to the commercial objectives of the CCO Power departments by leading and supporting cross functional initiatives to develop new business opportunities and implementing the Power strategy by coordination and business analysis. That means:
- You support Power business lines by synthesizing clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods
- You communicate findings effectively with stakeholders, present results, steer decisions and promote their implementation
- You independently drive workflows and thus contribute to the overall success of the project
- You develop strong working relationships and manage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure success of the Power Trading initiatives and represent the Power team in companywide initiatives
