POWER PLATFORM CONTRACTOR (3 MONTHS INITIALLY)

Codec is looking for a Senior Power Platform / Dynamics 365 Contractor to join us on a short-term contract in our established practice and contribute to the delivery of innovative and impactful projects.
This role will require you to be onsite 1 day per week in Dublin. Our team of functional and technical consultants work on some of the most significant Power Platform implementations in Ireland, delivering modern solutions that streamline and automate complex business processes in dynamic environments.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, coupled with excellent client engagement and consulting skills. Experience in various industry sectors and business processes is highly desirable.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Power Platform:
• Power Apps (Model-Driven / Canvas)
• Power Automate Cloud Flows
• Dataverse / D365 and integrations with external systems
• Experience extending Power Platform with custom connectors, plugins, or Azure services.
• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft technology stack, including Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency in solution envisioning and design within agile and waterfall project environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in:
• Microsoft Dataverse (or Dynamics 365 CE) customisation and development
• C#/.NET for custom development and Azure Functions
• Strong consulting skills, including client relationship management, business analysis, and problem-solving.
• A proven track record in delivering Power Platform solutions in customer-facing roles.
• Experience working on large-scale implementations and a solid understanding of business process automation.

As a Senior Power Platform Consultant, you will have experience in some or all of the of the following:

• Lead end-to-end Power Platform solutions by leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to meet business requirements and deliver value-driven outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business challenges and design robust, scalable solutions using the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Develop, configure, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), workflows using Power Automate.
• Utilise Microsoft Dataverse and integrate Power Platform solutions with external data sources and services, including Azure and third-party applications.
• Provide technical expertise on leveraging AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and custom connectors to extend the Power Platform’s capabilities.
• Act as a “Trusted Advisor” to clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities to expand the use of the Power Platform in their organisations.
• Support project planning, estimating effort, and task allocation while mitigating risks and maintaining high-quality delivery.
• Mentor junior consultants and assist the team in developing best practices and methodologies for Power Platform delivery.
• Evaluate and recommend new Power Platform features and third-party tools to optimise business processes and align with client needs.
• Maintain lean and effective documentation to ensure projects remain well-documented and accessible
