POSITION PROFILE

As ITK continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Power Platform Functional Consultant who has experience and a passion for designing and implementing business applications, using primarily Microsoft Power Platform tools, to make our clients’ businesses work better.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, and we are hoping to have the successful applicant join us by mid-August / early September, to work as part of our team on some upcoming client projects.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with clients and team members to gather, analyze, and document business requirements utilizing multiple Agile techniques to support client and stakeholder objectives;
• Developing and documenting conceptual / logical data models and undertaking detailed data mapping and data migration planning;
• Designing and configuring automated business process flows;
• Configuring business applications (Model Driven, Canvas and Power Pages), including building forms, views and process automation using Power Platform tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Copilot Studio;
• Analyzing data using Power BI visualizations and dashboards;
• Assisting in the design and development of data integrations using a variety of tools from Excel imports to Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse Pipelines;
• Supporting pre-sales solutioning and estimation for prospective and existing clients; and
• Creating user and technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS - MUST HAVES

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a hands-on Functional Consultant, Systems Analyst or front-end Developer.
• At least 5 years’ experience configuring business applications utilizing Microsoft Power Apps, Dynamics 365, or other low-code application development platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile / continuous delivery development environment and demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Proven client management / project management experience.
• Appropriate post-secondary degree, ideally with previous experience as a consultant.
• Demonstrated capabilities in leading Agile client projects and liaising between technology teams and business users.
• Superior analytical, evaluative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Appropriate Dynamics and / or Power Platform related Microsoft Certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS - NICE TO HAVES

• Quantifiable experience with reporting and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
• Familiar with Azure DevOps, Jira or similar agile work item management systems.
• Experience with Azure Logic, Azure Data Factory and Integration Services.
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
