Job Description:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSEE or MSEE
  • 5 years’ experience as an electrical engineer
  • Experience with power systems or controls engineering including PLC’s and HMI’s
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Desire to grow/develop and a passion for customers

TECHNICAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Switchgear power automation for gear <38kV
  • ATO programming in PLC’s or Protective Relays
  • Protective Relay programming and commissioning
  • Exposure to electrical maintenance and testing
  • Ability to read and interpret power system studies
  • Electrical distribution design <38kV
  • Generator controls
  • Ability to analyze and interpret engineering documents, codes and standards, and technical procedures
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

SOFT SKILLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to anticipate and communicate project risks and how to mitigate them
  • Collaborative and influential communication style
  • Ability to work remotely effectively
  • Capability to work individually or with a team
