Preclinical Affairs supports all stent and balloon projects in research and development as well as in validation and approval with a diverse range of preclinical animal studies. Through a systematic and scientific approach, we contribute to a deeper understanding and assurance of the safety of BIOTRONIK’s increasingly complex product portfolio.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in natural sciences with several years of professional experience in the field of preclinical research
• Project experience with preclinical animal studies and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacokinetics, histology and statistics
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (FDA,CE, etc.) for medical devices / combination products advantageous
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage

• Planning, coordination, evaluation as well as interpretation and presentation of preclinical animal studies and projects
• Preparation of animal study strategies and validation documents on preclinical topics
• Participation in project teams as core team member as well as contribution to risk analyses, validation files and scientific publications
