The DE Pricing team plays a key role in driving the growth for our German brands, immowelt and immonet. As a center of expertise, the team collaborates closely with our Go-to-Market, Sales, Finance, and Product departments to identify, assess, and implement growth opportunities across all our customer segments.
The position is open for applicants in Berlin, Hamburg and Nürnberg.
Job Description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a pricing, data analysis, or similar role, ideally within a subscription-based or e-commerce business.
  • Project management: Ability to lead and steer pricing projects with minimal supervision, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and on-time delivery.
  • Analytical skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GSuite, Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Collaboration: Experience in working with various departments, such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop long-term pricing strategies that support business growth and market positioning.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Language skills: Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role, you will combine analytical expertise with strategic thinking to lead pricing initiatives and provide data-driven insights. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and steering pricing-related projects, while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product and Operations to ensure cohesive pricing strategies across the business.
Although your primary focus will be on the German market, you will be part of an international team and collaborate with counterparts from other AVIV markets to drive overarching pricing initiatives and support the group’s overall advancement in pricing-related topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Implement pricing strategies: Create and refine pricing models to align with business objectives, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Lead pricing projects: Steer and manage pricing-related projects, from conception to execution, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
  • Data-driven analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to inform pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and Operations teams to ensure pricing strategies align with company goals and market positioning.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing performance: Continuously assess pricing performance, making data-backed adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and presentations on pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
