The Green Assets Divison’s goal is to create a significant, transparent, financially sound green assets portfolio - consisting of solar PV and onshore wind power plants -, resulting in positive shareholder return with reasonable risk profile via the deep understanding of the energy markets. We are dedicated to develop and build a 2000+ MWp – geographically and technologically diversified – green portfolio by 2026 in Europe.
Job Description
We are looking for a new colleague who can take care of the European pricing and portfolio management activities of MET Group’s Green Assets Division:
- Tendering and management of power offtake, balancing agreements and sales contracts for guarantees of origin for the pan-European renewables portfolio,
- Setting up energy portfolio management processes, risk management measures, policies on position management,
- Development of power price curves to support position management of assets in the portfolio and valuation of M&A transactions,
- Coordination of asset integration into the renewables portfolio,
- Setting up and operating reporting activity for each asset on the fulfilment of energy management related KPIs,
- Development of risk management strategies related to renewables production,
- Pricing of position hedging products,
- Supporting internal decision making with investment proposals,
- Supporting business planning and budgeting,
- Any other tasks directly related to this position.
Qualifications
- College/ university degree in Engineering and/ or Economics,
- 5+ years experience in the energy industry in project/ pricing/ portfolio management/ energy trading,
- Experience in managing structured products,
- Excellent analytical skills, structured and strategic thinking,
- Fluent English is required,
- Any additional language knowledge (e.g. Spanish, Italian, German or other European language) is an advantage.
