We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Very good AC- and DC electrical system and power electronics development skills on various voltage (LV, MV, HV) levels.
  • Very good skills and knowledge: Simulations, Power electronics converter topologies, Power electronics controls, EMC, Thermal Design, Electrical Safety, and Related standards.
  • Very good understanding of product testing and qualification.
  • Experienced in power electronics and electric system architecture design.
  • Technical leadership experience.
  • Full development cycle experience i.e. from automotive or other industries.
  • Wide understanding of different development tools and processes related to electric and power electronics design.
  • Industrialization experience in electrical and power electronics system manufacturing with EMS suppliers.
  • Experience in energy storage systems and charging applications.
  • MSc or PhD as education.

Responsibilities:

YOUR TASKS IN THE NET ZERO JOURNEY:

  • Lead power electronics and electrical system architecture development.
  • Work as a subject matter expert in customer projects.
  • Drive the company’s technology and product roadmap development.
  • Lead and plan research projects.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Drive power electronics and electrical system development process and tool development.
