REQUIREMENTS

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Very good mechanical development skills: mechanical and thermal simulations, engineering calculations, 2D/3D Design, Thermal design, insulation coordination, DFM/DFA, cost optimization, EMC design, Product standards.
  • Experience in mechanical Architecture design.
  • Technical leadership experience.
  • Full development cycle experience i.e. from automotive or other industries.
  • Experience in various CAD, PLM, and PDM systems.
  • Experience in various manufacturing processes: aluminium casting, plastic molding, sheet metal, laser welding, etc.
  • Industrialization experience with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Experience in product testing and validation: Vibration, IP, Thermal, EMC.
  • Electrical engineering understanding and experience in energy storage and power electronics applications.
  • MSc or PhD as education.

Responsibilities:

YOUR TASKS IN THE NET ZERO JOURNEY:

  • Lead mechanical platform and architecture development.
  • Work as a subject matter expert in customer projects.
  • Drive the company’s technology and product roadmap development.
  • Lead and plan research projects.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Drive mechanical development process and tool development.
