What will you be doing?
- Participating in projects, studies and concept development
- Being responsible for the overall automation system design, SAS, SIL, F&G, and emergency systems
- Developing control philosophies, functional specifications, and system/network architectures for automation systems
- Preparing I/O schedules, control narratives, and cause & effect diagrams
- Being responsible for functional safety-related activities such as HAZOP/LOPA reviews, design of Safety Instrumented Functions, and SIL verification
- Being responsible for alarm management activities such as developing alarm schedules and participation in alarm rationalization workshops
- Ensuring discipline integration and coordination with other project disciplines
- Following up deliverables from vendors
- Providing technical support to construction and commissioning
- Providing input for and making use of technical registers (COMOS, MIPS, Client systems, etc.)
- Making sure the expectations towards HMS and quality are fulfilled
- Taking actions towards our project execution model to meet the requirements in the project
- Building network towards the client, vendors, and internally in the group
We think you should have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automation, Cybernetics, IT, Process Control, or other similar and relevant area
- Minimum 10 years of engineering design experience in the offshore oil & gas industry
- Solid knowledge of SAS systems, and multidiscipline knowledge of EIT
- Familiarity with networking protocols and interfacing of 3rd party systems with main automation systems
- Excellent communication skills in English, and strong presentation skills
- Cross-cultural attitude and ability to work across locations
