WHAT YOUR JOB WILL BE LIKE

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead development of the Joint Material Accounting and Tracking (JMATS) system. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering IT solutions for internal and external partners based on the business prioritization of the product owners.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Assist with the negotiating of system requirements, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are met, participating in design sessions, leading code reviews, developing code, coordinating infrastructure changes, and participating in standardization efforts for development operations across many enterprise business applications.
  • Lead development of the Joint Material Accounting and Tracking (JMATS) system
  • Be responsible for delivering IT solutions for internal and external partners based on the business prioritization of the product owners
  • Assist with the negotiating of system requirements, ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are met, participating in design sessions, leading code reviews, developing code, coordinating infrastructure changes, and participating in standardization efforts for development operations across many enterprise business applications

The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS WE REQUIRE

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline plus 5 years of experience; or equivalent (AS + 9 years or no degree + 13 years)
  • Included in the above:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of enterprise application development experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with .net development
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with Angular development
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

QUALIFICATIONS WE DESIRE

  • Experience with logistics or supply chain system application development
  • Experience providing enterprise IT application operations and maintenance support
  • Experience using agile application development methodologies
  • Experience using Sandia’s Solution Delivery Lifecyle (SDL)
  • Experience supporting internal Sandia customers and gathering requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment
  • Active DOE Q clearance

NNSA REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDPEDS

If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date
