Description:
Position: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits and bonus
Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their client’s dynamic team in Plymouth. The company is a leader in the engineering industry, and they are looking for a driven individual with exceptional technical expertise to take on this exciting role. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising manufacturing processes to meet the highest quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles. This role offers the chance to use your expertise to manage projects and collaborate on new product introductions, specifically within their paint plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes to meet quality standards
- Identifying and implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Utilising lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement
- Managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and product introductions
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Identifying and resolving any technical issues in the manufacturing processes
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and other external partners
- Providing technical expertise to support production and process improvements
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in a process engineering role
- Proven track record of successfully optimising manufacturing processes
- Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
- Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
- Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
