YOUR PROFILE
We are seeking a senior professional with a strong understanding of both operational processes and IT systems. The ideal candidate will be highly structured, with a proven ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
EXPERIENCE:
- Academic degree in Business, Project Management, Analytics, or Economics.
- Significant experience in a similar role, with a focus on process flow design and project execution.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with NOVA is highly advantageous, especially for those with a banking background.
SOFT SKILLS:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Norwegian.
- Organized, self-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing effectively.
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to offer support to others.
- Highly structured and attentive to quality and deadlines.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- SQL knowledge (basic level is sufficient, but more advanced skills are a plus).
- Excel knowledge.
- Familiarity with JIRA and experience in data sourcing and mapping.
- Experience with A/B testing and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Senior Process Specialist at PRA Group, you will focus on optimizing processes and driving efficiency improvements at the intersection of IT and operations. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and implement efficiency improvements in the collection process. The role bridges IT and operations, making it essential to balance technical skills with an understanding of business processes. You will play a key role in:
- Project Management: Capturing business requirements, creating execution plans, and overseeing their implementation. This includes introducing new channels and payment solutions, managing third-party relationships, and integrating new portfolios.
- Process Enhancement: Optimizing existing workflows and driving changes towards operational excellence by implementing simplifications, developments, or automation where needed.
- Collection Process Expertise: You’ll become the local process expert, ensuring efficiency in Norway’s collections and sharing best practices across the Nordics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business processes and collaborate with Operations & IT to deliver operational excellence.
- Adapt and optimize collection strategies, including A/B testing, for continuous improvement.
- Own and optimize workflows for the collection system in Norway, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Support stakeholders with KPIs, impact assessments, and interdepartmental prioritization.
- Lead data enrichment initiatives and ensure robust processes.
- Act as the Team’s representative in business improvement projects.
- Assist with periodic data processes, including new acquisitions, month-end requirements, and ad-hoc reporting.
