Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4) to join the BCA Supply Chain Contracts and Sourcing – Interiors team in Everett, Washington on first shift.
The Contracts Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing’s supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent, your responsibilities will focus on contracting strategy, contract negotiation and supplier selection.
This role requires contracting knowledge, negotiating and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, and negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. You should be comfortable with executive communication and report-outs on a regular basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience with Procurement and Supply Chain processes and systems
- 5+ years of experience with contract preparation and negotiation
- 5+ years of experience working to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10-25%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
- 5+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts
- 5+ years of experience developing and coaching to, procurement process lifecycle
- 5+ years of experience developing, and achieving affordability targets
TYPICAL EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiates and contracts for products, services, and technologies.
- Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
- Manages performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
- Mitigates risks and issues.
- Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
