Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Procurement Agent (Level 4) to support our Asia Structures team in Everett, Washington!
The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her/their supply chain knowledge. We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to manage suppliers throughout the world. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will manage complex work packages in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public.
This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
- 3+ years of experience with collecting, organizing synthesizing and analyzing procurement data
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is desired but not required
- 3+ years of high-level complex program management
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
- Consults with internal customers to resolve supplier performance issues
- Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
