Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent - Contracts (Level) to join our In-Service – PSAA Fleet Reliability Contracts team in Seattle, Washington or Everett, Washington!
This procurement agent will negotiate and enforce complex supplier agreements to ensure our production suppliers provide adequate aftermarket support to airline customers. The right fit for this role enjoys contract terms and conditions, is comfortable with confrontation, but ultimately is customer support-centric and ready to build strong relationships to achieve the best business outcomes. This is a unique team that negotiates with suppliers but also interfaces directly with airline customers to support their contract enforcement of these 3-party agreements.

Trains airlines on their contractual rights with parts suppliers. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
- 5+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross-business domains with executive interface
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- 5+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
- 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain Contracts, Operations, or Finance, or a combination thereof
- 5+ years of experience with customer relations
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and facilitate contract dispute resolution pertaining to supplier PSAA obligations to customers to resolve customer concerns and obtain contractual remedies for customers.
- Lead, create, and maintain standard work, operating rhythm, and process improvements for Reliability work statement.
- Assess and make risk-based decisions related to supplier contracts and develop solutions proactively.
- Lead, participate in, and support a variety of external supplier negotiations.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and integrate operational & technical requirements with supply chain strategy.
- Identify contractual and financial risks and recommends appropriate mitigation strategies to Senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Execute contract processes including analysis of contractual data and preparation of contractual documents.
- Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and make recommendations from appropriate data sources at the business unit level.
- Understand and communicate PSAA contract terms between Boeing and customers, and Boeing and suppliers/partners.
- Must be willing to travel as needed to provide customer support and training.
