Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality procurement advice and support to AECOM’s infrastructure clients on their flagship projects.
  • Lead and / or support in sector leading projects and programmes, as the strategic procurement subject matter expert.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Provide procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors, to then lead them through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project.
  • Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management.
  • Support work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation.
  • Support the development of AECOM’s overall strategic procurement service offering
