WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be considered for this role you’ll be qualified to a minimum of CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply with proven experience of leading a procurement function to deliver strategic goals. Your industry experience will ideally lie within automotive/vehicle leasing and you’ll be a motivational people leader with the ability to inspire your team to achieve success and provide them with opportunities to develop their skills and experience.

Also, we’re looking for the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering cost saving initiatives using innovative solutions
  • The ability to collaborate and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • An effective commercial decision maker
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) would be desirable

Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

Reporting into our Head of Finance and working closely with our Head of Supplier Relationship Management you’ll lead our procurement team to ensure we deliver a professional, operational and strategic procurement service that delivers cost saving initiatives, optimises value add opportunities, and through service delivery, achieves a best in class experience for our customers.

SOME OF YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Proactively manage sourcing, contracting and compliance for all direct goods and service provisions, in accordance with Procurement Governance
  • Responsibility for the procurement data (inc. contracts) repository, and the analysis and procurement-related MI that monitors performance and risk, and provides market insights
  • Maximizing value added opportunities within the portfolio, ensuring market leading SLA’s and KPI’s are in place, with highly competitive costs and terms with suppliers that align to our values
  • People management and leadership of your team to optimise performance and deliver development opportunities
    We adopt a hybrid approach to our ways of working which for this role will see you based from our modern office in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) a minimum of 2 days per week.
