JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Specialis t to join Global Investment Product Team within Procurement Operations group at MBPS. In this role, you are oversight of the end-to-end execution of the sourcing & contracting process for various spend categories for NA sourcing initiatives driving savings targets and other organizational goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop complex cost model and come up with actionable cost-optimization recommendations
  • 5+ years of progressive business experience in strategic sourcing and/or global supply chain related to commercial print or digital communication
  • Undergraduate degree (Supply Chain, Finance, HR or other related courses)
  • Passion for the success of the procurement operating model
  • Problem analyzer and decision maker – effectively searches and uses industry and market insights; able synthesize, and present complex information in a value-added form; attention to detail; evaluates feasibility and practicality of ideas and options; takes ownership and makes timely recommendations Experience in identifying savings and value in a procurement function
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
  • Experience with supplier contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal and business risk
  • Experience with sourcing and procurement systems and tools
  • Technical and professional knowledge – demonstrated understanding and application of procurement and contracting principles and best practices
  • Team builder – builds strategic partnerships with internal clients and vendors; builds buy-in and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Skilled communicator – communicates complexity with clarity and ease; articulates a clear view of concepts, ideas, and objectives; able to interface with different stakeholders at all levels; represents the company externally with confidence; skilled in both oral and written communication
  • ·Collaborator – shares resources and leverages knowledge across the organization; builds and nurtures an extensive network
  • Strong customer service orientation – adept at cultivating and sustaining value-add business partnerships with internal stakeholders at a senior executive level
  • Willing to work in on night shift

Responsibilities:

  • Identify sourcing opportunities by pro-actively engaging the business unit stakeholders
  • Conduct detailed analysis and develop relevant sourcing and negotiation strategy for assigned projects
  • Generate and leverage market and supplier intelligence and data for development of sourcing and negotiation strategies
  • Work with business partners on a consultative basis to collect and finalize specific business requirements necessary to evaluate and select suppliers
  • Establish deal teams for large sourcing engagements
  • Submit RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP or e-Auction) requests to suppliers and make recommendations to the business partners on which providers will meet the commercial print or digital communication needs
  • Develop terms sheet based on negotiation strategies, with input from the business partners
  • Participate during the contract negotiation process, with consultative support, as required, from legal and risk
  • Interface directly with business partners and vendor/contract managers
  • Perform other related strategic sourcing activities and participate in special projects as assigned
  • Identify and implement a long-term strategy for developing and maintaining talent for NA ensuring cross training and upskilling of resources to develop back-up support and minimize attrition
  • Support and deliver on key transformation strategies (i.e. Ivalua implementation) of the group, as a priority.Establish a high level of credibility and build professional relationships with our customers.
