Description:
Do you enjoy playing games and have a talent for planning and organizing dynamic projects? Stardock is currently seeking a talented and organized Senior Producer to help manage its game projects! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is responsible for driving projects to success, ensuring that deliveries are on schedule and within scope, and maintaining high quality. This is a salaried, full-time position located at and reporting to our Plymouth, Michigan studio.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
- 7+ years of experience as a Producer in the games industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the full game development process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Experience using Jira and/or other game industry-standard project tracking software.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Create project plans, schedules, and milestone requirements.
- Organize, write, and assign tasks with logical orientation to ensure on-time completion.
- Ensure implementation of game design features as well as creating new ones.
- Manage upcoming bug reports and prioritize fixes.
- Regularly evaluate project deliverables for adherence to industry standards and commercial viability, identifying and addressing areas that do not meet the highest quality benchmarks.
- Actively facilitate and foster collaboration across various departments, including art, design, engineering, marketing, and QA.
- Continuously convey project status and important information to internal stakeholders.
- Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
