Your role and responsibilities
Planning and conducting explorative and evaluative user research in the German market and other Epassi markets
Developing our processes and tools around user research and product design alongside other team members
Applying service design methods and tools to create new and improve existing services and products
Defining and discovering terminology and information architecture for product concepts, guided by user insights
Interaction design of new and existing products and services in given responsibility area, utilizing - and contributing to - our design system
Working independently on projects, products and services and guiding junior team members
Collaborating day-to-day with product owners, product managers and development teams, and of course fellow designers
Key contributor in advocating user-centricity within the organization.
Preferred qualifications
5+ years or experience of product or service design in B2C or B2B products, complemented by applicable formal education
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience and interest in working close to product management and business
Deep understanding of qualitative user research, service design, and interaction design
Understanding of modern software development practices
Portfolio demonstrating user research, service design and interaction design capabilities
Fluent English and German are required, other language skills are appreciated
