OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and help bring this vision to life. In this role, you’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, and researchers to design intuitive, user-friendly solutions to complex problems. Whether you’re crafting functional experiences or exploring innovative approaches to new challenges, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of consumer identity management.

  • You have experience designing digital consumer products in fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments.
  • You thrive in collaborative settings and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • You are passionate about applying UX principles to create cohesive, high-quality user experiences.
  • You demonstrate empathy for users, deeply understanding their needs and pain points.
  • You are comfortable working in ambiguity and can balance exploration with delivering practical, user-centric designs.
  • You have a strong appreciation for visual design and systems thinking.
  • You can quickly create prototypes to bring ideas to life and validate concepts.
  • You excel at storytelling and presenting your work to diverse audiences.
  • You stay curious and continuously explore new tools, techniques, and design trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 + years in product design
  • Proficient in design tools like Figma and Miro.
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex design challenges and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • A digital portfolio showcasing your work on consumer-facing products, including end-to-end design processes. (Portfolio link required with application.)
  • Strong visual design and interaction design skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a human-centered design approach to create seamless and impactful user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and products.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for web and mobile applications.
  • Partner with researchers to gain insights and validate design solutions.
  • Advocate for design consistency and quality across the Okta Personal product ecosystem.
  • Explore and present multiple solutions to problems before committing to a final version.
  • Produce mockups, concepts, and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.
  • Support engineers during implementation by providing design assets and guidance.
  • Stay informed on competitor products, design trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Present your work regularly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
